About the Band
Cheat'n on Tucker is a rock, country, and blues band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2018. The band consists of Jake Tucker (lead vocals, guitar), Billy Ray Thompson (lead guitar), Hank Morrison (bass, backing vocals), and Dusty Williams (drums, percussion).
Drawing from the rich musical traditions of Texas, Cheat'n on Tucker crafts songs that blend the storytelling of classic country with the raw energy of rock and the soulful depths of the blues. Their sound has been described as "whiskey-soaked roadhouse rock" and "Texas music at its finest."
Since their formation, the band has released three studio albums, played over 200 live shows, and built a dedicated following across the Southwest. Their latest album, "Whiskey Roads" (2024), debuted at #15 on the Americana Albums chart and has garnered critical acclaim from major publications.
Known for their electrifying live performances, Cheat'n on Tucker has shared stages with artists like Turnpike Troubadours, Whiskey Myers, and Charley Crockett. They continue to tour extensively and are available for festivals, clubs, and private events.
